GMA Intake 21 Holds Thanksgiving Service

The Ghana Military Academy (GMA) Regular Career Course (RCC) intake 21 held its 42nd anniversary thanksgiving church and memorial service on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the Teshie Camp Methodist Presby Church (TCMPC).

The Senior Pastor, Reverend (Rev) Michael Addo Nyinaka spoke on the theme: “Jesus has the power over all sickness”. In his sermon, Rev Nyinaka said Jesus Christ was the ultimate healer and whoever trusts in the Lord shall be healed from all diseases and infirmities.

He advised that, in this challenging time of COVID-19, all must do well to observe the laid down protocols to reduce the spread of the virus and also continue in prayer.

The Former Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Mantsebi-Tei Naggai (Rtd), who happened to be the senior most of the intake, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Almighty God for bringing them this far. He said, “Human as we are, one cannot ignore death.” He, therefore, acknowledged 13 of his mates who had been called to glory.

AVM Mantsebi-Tei Naggai (Rtd) acknowledged the presence of the Deputy Force Commander Western Sahara, Brigadier General Constance Afenu, who happened to be the junior most amongst the intake and the only one still in active service. He prayed for God’s guidance upon her life and career.

The intake donated an amount of Two Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵2,000.00) to the church as thanksgiving to the Lord for how far He has brought them as an intake.

Present were the Former Director of Defense Financial Controller, Brigadier General Alhaji Inusah Abdullai (Rtd) and other retired senior officers. Joining the thanksgiving programme in solidarity was A.R. Alhassan now A.R. Gomda, who was part of the Short Service intake in 1979.
