A girl, believed to be 11 years old, has miraculously survived after she was stabbed in the abdomen by an unknown attacker.
Identified as Hudu Adama, the victim was stabbed without provocation, whilst she was on her way to buy food at Akwatialine in Kumasi around 8pm on Friday.
Despite bleeding profusely, the brave girl, managed to walk in pain to her house, before she was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
What influenced the adult male to stab the young girl multiple times is so far not established, paving way for people to speculate on what might have transpired.
Some of the people believed that the man, perhaps, wanted to kill the girl for ritual purposes, but others suspected that the man may just be a robber.
The heartbreaking case has been reported to the police for investigations but checks made by the paper indicated the suspect was still at large.
Eyewitnesses said the runaway suspect didn’t utter a word as he just attacked the young girl, stabbing her in the abdomen.
The suspect, fearing that he may be apprehended to face the law, quickly escaped after committing the heinous crime.
