Teqball Gives To Guide Radio
Fast growing federation, Ghana Teqball Federation (GTF), has presented a Teqboard worth thousands of cedis to GUIDE RADIO (95.1) at the latter’s office in Accra.
The gesture forms part of the federation’s quest to promote and develop the sport in the country.
Earlier, executives of the federation reached an agreement with Western Publications, publishers of Daily Guide to promote the sport in a proposed league.
Federation President, Kofi Poku said, “This forms part of the Federation’s plans to promote and develop the sport in the country. We are embarking on a nationwide campaign to develop teqball, and this is one of such campaigns.”
He added, “Already, we have made some donations to some parts of the country. We hope to continue in the coming months. It’s an interesting sport and I urge all to get involved.”
GUIDE RADIO morning show host Abena Soreno expressed gratitude to the federation for the gesture and promised to put it to good use.
She said, “We will certainly use it for the intended purpose, we are most grateful and we are looking forward to a great teqball league.”
