The Member of Parliament for Assin Central in the Central Region Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and the founder of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Nigel Gaise have given peace a chance, calling for truce between them after several months of verbal battle.
Information available to DGN Online indicates that the religious preacher of the Prophetic Hill Chapel who is believed to be politically tainted initiated a meeting with the lawmaker for them to iron out their differences.
In the late evening of Thursday February 10, 2022, Nigel Gaise called on Kennedy Agyapong at his residence in Accra to speak on the matter.
Right Rev. Dr. Nana Anyani-Boadum, Presiding Bishop of the Jesus Generation Ministry facilitated this important meeting.
Rev. S.K Boafo, former Minister for Chieftancy, Religion and Culture and one Elder Oppong Bio, Kennedy Agyapong’s business partner were also in attendance.
Speaking on the matter, Nigel Gaise noted that “Honorable Agyapong welcomed us warmly and showed a lot of magnanimity.
“Honorable Rev. S.K Boafo, the former minister for Chieftancy, Religion and Culture and Elder Oppong Bio were in the meeting. We had a fruitful discussion and my fathers advised me accordingly.
“Peace is the ultimate that as a Christian one must always seek. What is ahead is very important and one must always be guided to seek that and protect it wholeheartedly.Mattew5 rs9….*Blessed are the peace makers for they shall be called the children of God,” he posted on his Facebook page.
Nigel Gaise and Kennedy Agyapong have been engaging in battle of words after the latter described him as fake amidst other words.
The parliamentarian has constantly through his television station, Net 2 Tv attack Nigel Gaise.
Until this year when Nigel Gaise also launched a series of attacks and curses on the parliamentarian, he always cries out loud that the MP was unduly and unfairly attacking his personality which is affecting his church.
The General Overseer of Prophetic Hill Church later tendered an apology to the lawmaker and businessman over his recent outbursts where he made derogatory comments against him.
In an audio, a man purported to be Prophet Nigel Gaisie apologized for his harsh words and called for reconciliation.
“I said yesterday that I will pray against you (during the Kofi TV interview), I retract and apologize for all that harsh words but I was tired. Kennedy we love you and let’s talk. Stop attacking the church, because of you a lot of people are not going to church and it’s not good”
Nigel Gaisie urged Kennedy Agyapong to read the book of Philemon in order to get an understanding of why people must go to church regardless of whatever Men of God do, “God has a way of sorting it all out” he stated.
He therefore expressed his readiness to meet with the lawmaker to thrash out issues between them, saying that “I have no differences with him, if he sees me, he will see that the rolex, galazo and V8 that his son uses, I use same. So I can be like his son.”
