Davido, Stonebwoy Thrill Fans In London

Davido and Stonebwoy

Nigerian afrobeat artiste, Davido and Ghanaian dancehall superstar, Stonebwoy, last Saturday staged a brilliant live musical performance in London at a concert held at the O2 Arena to entertain music fans.

The two delivered an irrepressible and thrilling performance that got even the most reserved of individuals among the audience up on their feet in sheer excitement.

The concert, which was attended by thousands of music fans in and around London, was organised to welcome Davido’s next album, ‘We Rise By Lifting Others’. It was also aimed at bringing artistes closer to their fans for quality entertainment.

Davido’s performance was exceptional. He delighted the crowd with tunes that got them dancing all the way through. He performed most of his popular hit-songs at the event.

Davido later performed with Darkovibes, a member of the rap group La Meme Gang. The two collaborated on ‘Je M’apelle’ released in 2021.

The performance of Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, also attracted the needed attention, as music fans at the event waved their hands to show appreciation.

The event kicked off with one of Davido’s aides, Afeare Isreal, also known as Israel DMW, putting up a little show, while ringing his bell on stage and pouring encomium on his boss.

Some of the artistes who graced the event include Adekunle Gold, Patoranking, Pheelz, Reekado Banks, Mayorkun, Victony, CKay, Teni, Popcan, among others.

The concert was sold-out. This is not the first time Davido has sold out the Arena.

In January 2019, Davido sold out the 20,000 concert venue which is considered to be a huge feat for any artiste.
