THE OVERALL Best Worker at the Ahafo Ano South-East District Assembly in the Ashanti Region, will be sponsored for a holiday trip abroad.
Thomas Owusu Ansah, District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, who initiated this reward package, will sponsor it to help promote hard work.
“Since I assumed office as the DCE, I have realised that some of you are doing marvelously well,” the DCE said during a recent staff durbar.
“So at the end of this year, I have a handsome reward for three outstanding staff. This is my personal initiative to help improve hard work here. I can assure you, one of these three staff I have identified will be sponsored to a trip outside Ghana,” Owusu Ansah said, attracting wild applause.
The DCE, who has continually indicated his desire to see the district develop properly, urged the staff to report to work on time and be disciplined.
The meeting was aimed to charge the staff to increase productivity. It was graced by the District Coordinating Director, Kaleem Abdallah Adam.
Abdallah Adam entreated the staff to uphold and defend the code of conduct for the Ghana Civil Service at all times, to boost the image of the service.
