Efia Odo and Fred Nuamah
Ghanaian actress-cum-musician, Efia Odo, has rubbished Fred Nuamah’s political ambition to contest John Dumelo on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat.
Efia Odo, on the United Showbiz celebrity show, revealed that she feels Fred Nuamah, the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Music Awards, cannot perform his role as an MP when voted to represent constituents at Ayawaso West Wuogon.
Her outburst against Fred Nuamah is a result of his inability to deliver her award plaque after winning her first-ever award at the Ghana Movie Awards, Best Leading Actress of the Year award category in 2018.
“I’m not saying Fred is not a good candidate but am saying that you organise an award ceremony without delivering the most basic thing like a plaque, how can you deliver when given the nod as the MP?
A lot more people are complaining about Fred’s inability to provide the plaque, it’s very bad,” she stated.
When asked what delivering of plaque got to do with Fred’s bid to contest for the parliamentary primaries, Efia Odo answered saying, “it’s about delivery, you start a programme, and the basic thing is when one wins awards, you are supposed to reward the winner with the plaque, but if you are unable to deliver that you cannot deliver as MP.”
Actor Fred Nuamah has declared his intentions to represent the people of Ayawaso West Wuogon on the ticket of the NDC.
Ayawaso West Wuogon is the same constituency Fred’s best friend, John Dumelo has been doing his possible best to win for the NDC.
