The late Sarfo Abebrese
Executives and members of Coalition of Supporters Union of Africa (COSUA) and former Ghana Football President Kwesi Nyantakyi have joined the family of departed lawyer Sarfo Abebrese to mark the latter’s one week observance ceremony in Asokwa, Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region last week.
The astute lawyer and founder of COSUA passed on to eternity peacefully in his sleep in Maryland, USA few weeks ago.
Last Wednesday, his family, government officials, the clergy and officials of COSUA received his mortal remains at the Kotoka International Airport, which was followed by a prayer for the body by Reverend Lawrence Tetteh.
People from far and near graced the one week observance ceremony at the Gyamfua Asenso Park in Asokwa.
Tears flowed, mourners wailed uncontrollably amid dirges during the solemn ceremony.
The family has consequently announced that the former TV personality’s  funeral service will take place at Asokwa Baptist Church in Kumasi on July 8, and burial at Ejura Royal Cemetery same day.
