Benjamin Fordjour Ministries (BFM), organisers of the annual “Invasion” gospel event, a non-denominational programme aimed at assembling Christian believers, launched this year’s edition last Saturday in Accra under the theme, “New Dimension.”
Addressing journalists at a press launch in Accra, President of the BFM, Isaac Obeng Agyei indicated that the primary purpose of the Invasion event is to preach the gospel of Christ to people in their own environment and in their own language, to increase their faith, devotion, and raise the voice of warning of Christ’s coming.
He stated that the two-day event will kick off on Friday, July 28 to Saturday, July 29 at 8:30pm and 4pm respectively.
“On Friday, we will have a spirited all-night service and then we will gather again at the conference centre for the final part of the programme which is on Saturday. You don’t have to miss it as we have put everything in place to make this year’s programme successful,” he said.
Mr. Obeng Agyei further stated that the free-gate event will feature a line-up of gospel ministers billed to perform on Invasion night including award-winning gospel artistes Ohemaa Mercy, Akesse Brempong, Pastor Isaiah Fosu Kwakye, Gina Doe, and Jojo Arhin.
He added that, “We are expecting thousands of people from all walks of life to attend the Invasion event therefore; we should be there on time with the renewed mindset that after the event things will turn around for our very benefit.”
According to the host Prophet, Benjamin Fordjour, the Invasion programme will create the necessary atmosphere where believers will know the essence of their creation. This will enable them to become the final expression of possibility.
Prophet Fordjour urged the public to patronise this year’s event as it promises to meet the expectations at which Christ died for our sins.
Ohemaa Mercy, in an interview with the media, encouraged believers of the Christian faith to believe that Christ has a purpose for everyone regardless of their current circumstances.
“I encourage Ghanaians to attend this free event. I assure you that your encounter with the prophet and the well-selected minister will be your testimony,” she added.
