THE NEW Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially released the album for the party’s November 4 presidential elections to the various aspirants for their perusal.
The album was given to the four candidates on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, exactly one-month to the party’s polls, scheduled for November 4.
The party album contain names of all NPP delegates across the 16 regions of the country, who are eligible to cast their ballot during the presidential primaries.
Information reaching the DAILY GUIDE, indicated that all the four candidates and their camps have taken delivery of copies of the albums from the various constituencies.
The four contestants for the NPP presidential election include Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong, former Minister for Agriculture and ex-MP for Kwadaso, Owusu Afriyie Akoto and former Asante Mampong MP, Francis Addai-Nimoh.
The aspirants have been tasked to thoroughly study the album and report any mishap that they would identify to the party leadership.
It would be recalled that the NPP General Secretary, Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong, assured to release the party album to the aspirants one month before election.
He is also on record to have stated that the earlier release of the album to the four contestants, would make it possible for them to study it and make their suggestions.
Credible party insiders said the NPP has informed the aspirants to critically study the album and report to the party if they detect any error, for quick rectification.
They said the current party leadership is ready and determined to work and ensure a free, transparent and peaceful party elections.
In this regard, they said Justin Kodua has persistently assured the aspirants about his readiness to solve any problem that may arise, with regards to the party album.
In a related development, the four contestants are reported to have intensified their campaign in the various constituencies, especially as the Election Day draws closer.
