All Set For HoodTalk Music Festival @ Ho

 

The Ho edition of the HoodTalk Music Festival will take place this Saturday, November 18 at the Jubilee Park, Ho in the Volta Region, the organisers have announced.

It is being organised by the DreamChild Foundation in partnership with Virtual Hub and VGRM, organisers of Edemfest to raise a provisional sum of $14 million for the construction of five paediatric clinics.

It also aims to help unite voices for the betterment of the African child and also help empower and support African children by harnessing the power of music and arts through community engagement.

A number of top musical personalities, including music fans, among others are expected to grace the festival.

A wide variety of social media platforms will run the broadcast, including Facebook, YouTube, and a host of others.

The event which has hiplife/hiphop artiste Edem as the headline act, will feature an incredible line-up of homegrown hiplife, hiphop, Afropop and dancehall artistes who are expected to thrill music fans.

Edem, who has carved a niche for himself as one of Ghana’s enterprising acts, has won the hearts of many music fans with his music and stagecraft.

He has promised his fans that he will stage an extraordinary live musical performance to satisfy them.

Edem will be joined by other energetic artistes such as Agbesi, Togbe Ghana, Gabanki, Kpeseboi, Tuff B, Israel Maweta and Comedian Paper.

Others are Zygee, Rizzlah Stylah, Kush Elikem, Fiamor, Kofi Bright, Rasta Boy, Kayrien, Yaw Darlington and a host of others.

Performing artistes such as Epixode, Jupitar, Tinny and Kelvyn Boy have been named special guests for the event.

It is a national event which has received endorsement from the Office of the President, Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, DJs Union of Ghana (DJUGA), Ministry of Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection and UNESCO.
