The No Frills Group, a friendly and corporate professional group of golfers whose main focus is philanthropy and community services played their annual Thanksgiving Tournament at Achimota Golf Club today.
The 18-Hole well organized competition drew crack golfers from far and near clubs.
A 43 stableford points handed Mr. Fifi Thompson, (handicap 17) the ultimate prize.
He shot past Mr. Philip Ayensu, playing of handicap 8, by just a stroke (42)., while Dr. Dennis Addo, playing of Handicap 18, shot 40 stableford points to finish in third place.
Mr. Leslie Nelson, alias “The Game Changer,” playing off handicap 11, played 40points tying Dr. Addo, in the third place.
And to Group Chairman, Mr. George Yaw Amoah the main focus of the group is health and wellness among busy corporate executives and most importantly philanthropic activities for the communities.
The groups recent focus is orphanage care and other community fund raising programs done anonymously.
