Kpanbu M/A Primary School before and after NDA intervention
The Northern Development Authority (NDA), has handed over two school projects to the East Gonja Municipal Assembly in the Savannah region.
The Northern Development Authority(NDA), handed over a 3-unit classroom block to Imamiya Islamic Primary School comprising a library, office, and washroom facility.
The authority also handed over a 3-unit classroom block to the Kpanbu M/A Primary School comprising a library, office, and washroom facility.
Savannah Regional Coordinator, Northern Development Authority(NDA), Madam Vivian Adams, at a short ceremony, indicated that out of 226 projects in the East Gonja municipality, 118 of them have been completed.
She said in the Salaga south area, out of 34 projects, 19 have been completed by the authority.
Madam Adams noted that the authority has implemented projects in Education, Health, Roads, Rural Electrification, and Water among others.
She encouraged the assembly to take good care of the projects to ensure that they serve their purpose for the betterment of the municipality.

“ I believe if these projects are properly managed it will encourage more children to come to school and so I will plead that the authorities of these schools should take good care of the schools”.
The East Gonja Municipal Chief Executive, Richard Broni, Commended the Northern Development Authority(NDA) for the numerous projects in the municipality and urged that the uncompleted projects be completed for the development of the municipality.
He noted that the government of Akufo-Addo is committed to education and urged parents to show interest in the education of their children and guide them to be successful future leaders.
A representative of the East Gonja Municipal Director of Education, Alhaji Abudu Hudu, assured officials of the Northern Development Authority(NDA) that the classroom block facility will be maintained to enhance teaching and learning in the municipality.
