The mother of Thomas Amoani, a beneficiary of the Akufo-Addo Free SHS policy, has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the New Patriotic Party, NPP government for transforming her son’s life.

She shared her story during Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign tour of Adeiso in the Upper West Akim Constituency in the Eastern Region on Sunday.

Thomas Amoani’s remarkable journey began when he completed his secondary education at Adeiso Presbyterian SHS in 2020, scoring an impressive 8As in the WASSCE.

His exceptional performance caught the attention of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who recognized his potential and intervened to secure a government scholarship for him to study at Brunel University in London, UK.

Thomas Amoani recently graduated, achieving an outstanding feat with a First Class degree in Economics and Finance from Brunel University.

His mother, who was overwhelmed with emotions, thanked the government for the policy that has helped her son achieve his dreams.

She urged the residents to vote for NPP to continue enjoying the benefits of the policy, saying that the policy has indeed transformed her son.

Amoani’s story is a testament to the impact of the Free SHS policy, which has opened doors of opportunity for many students from underprivileged backgrounds.

The policy has not only alleviated the financial burden on parents but has also provided a platform for students to excel academically.

Amoani’s achievement is a shining example of the policy’s success, and his family’s gratitude is a reflection of the positive change it has brought to their lives.
