Shatta Wale, Bullgod Fight Amid Lawsuit

Bullgod and Shatta Wale

Artiste manager Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, known as Bullgod, has responded to dancehall artiste Shatta Wale’s latest outburst over their ongoing defamation lawsuit.

Speaking in an interview, Bullgod addressed Shatta Wale’s claims, calling out his threats and reaffirming his stance on the legal case.

Their dispute stems from a 2022 lawsuit filed by Bullgod after Shatta Wale publicly accused him of being involved in the 2014 murder of Fennec Okyere, former manager of rapper Kwaw Kese.

Bullgod revealed that attempts to settle the matter out of court failed, prompting the continuation of the legal battle.

In his response, Shatta Wale accused Bullgod of hypocrisy, claiming he was being sued despite Bullgod leaking unreleased songs from his album.

Shatta also voiced frustration with the judicial system, even threatening judges involved in the case.

Bullgod dismissed Shatta Wale’s allegations, clarifying that he only shared a tracklist containing publicly known song titles.

“Does he have proof of what he said? I have proof of serving him a writ of summons,” Bullgod said.

He also criticised Shatta Wale’s claims, highlighting the emotional toll of the accusations. “Fennec was my friend. He ate in my house. My wife cooked for him. Shatta doesn’t know the full story but talks anyhow,” Bullgod stated, adding that he could have sued for millions but chose not to.

Bullgod further disclosed that Shatta had privately sought help from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to mend relations for a performance opportunity.

“He should stop playing gangster because he will come back and beg again,” Bullgod asserted.
