Charles Bissue (m) and NPP supporters during the walk
The entire Essikado-Ketan Constituency in the Western Region came to a standstill when the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the area, Charles Bissue, and the current Member of Parliament (MP), Joe Ghartey, as well as other party executives embarked on an evening walk to campaign for the party.
The event attracted thousands of enthusiastic supporters who joined the party leaders in the walk.
The streets of Ntankoful, Diabene and Kojokrom, all communities in the Constituency, were virtually painted with NPP colours of blue, red and white as the supporters marched through the streets.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd after the walk, Mr. Bissue thanked the MP for the area, Joe Ghartey for his support and for the projects he has embarked on in the area during his tenure.
Mr. Bissue promised to protect Mr. Ghartey’s achievements and to do more to develop Essikado-Ketan and serve the people diligently.
He encouraged the party supporters not to stop their door to door campaign to ensure a resounding victory for the NPP in the constituency come December 7.
He also pleaded with the constituents to vote for him and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for continuity of all the NPP’s policies including the free Senior High School (SHS).
Mr. Ghartey also urged the people of Essikado-Ketan to give the same massive support shown him to Mr. Bissue.
He advised the constituents not to vote ‘skirt and blouse’ but vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Charles Bissue.
