Information gathered by Daily Guide indicated that some officials of the National Security have arrested Social media commentator Sir Obama Pokuase.
His arrest was made after he made some wild allegations on his Facebook page indicating that some MG3 weapons are in the hands of some civilians under the watch of the Inspector General of Police Mr. Tetteh Christian Yohuno.
The controversial Freelancer is also popular for criticizing the John Mahama government over their failure to fight the galamsey menace.
Following his arrest some big names in the New Patriotic Party have taken to social media to demand for his release accusing government of undermining the country’s democracy.
Nana B, wrote” National Security picked up Sir Obama this dawn. The level of political harassment in this country using National Security is very alarming.”
Former NEIP Boss, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah also wrote, “Breaking News: National Security operatives pick up Sir-Obama Pokuase this dawn. So these guys won’t stop these unnecessary intimidations ?”
