Kwesi Arthur, King Promise Drop ‘Real Thing’

King Promise and Kwesi Arthur

GHANAIAN RAP heavyweight Kwesi Arthur has teamed up with Afrobeats sensation King Promise on their new single, “Real Thing,” a melodic blend of love, loyalty, and laid-back vibes.

The track features Kwesi Arthur’s slick bars and heartfelt melodies, complemented by King Promise’s signature honeyed vocals. “Real Thing” explores the true connection in a distracted world, showcasing the chemistry between Ghana’s two beloved talents. With relatable lyrics and a catchy hook, this Afro-fusion track is perfect for summer romance or late-night reflection.

Following the release of the visual for the song, it has generated over 70k views and thousands of comments.

It will be recalled that Rapper Kwesi Arthur issued a fiery response to fans he describes as “evil and nasty” for attacking him over what they claim is a stalled music career.

The “Grind Day” hitmaker, who recently ventured into content creation as a food influencer, has faced backlash from some followers who argue that his talent and success are solely tied to music.

In a strongly-worded rebuttal, Kwesi Arthur did not hold back, saying, “If you think you can threaten me, you’re wasting your time. I’m not the artiste you do that to. I’ve struggled before—poverty is no longer my portion. I forbid it… You don’t like my content? Swipe up or block me, but I’ll do what I like.”

He clarified that his music journey is far from over, but it will be on his terms, not because someone cursed him into it. Kwesi further warned that persistent trolls would either be blocked or met with equally harsh responses.
