Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Faustina Elikplim Akurugu, has assured constituents that her political era will be marked with accountable leadership and continuous engagement with her people.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the Dome-Kwabenya Recognition and Awards Ceremony, Mrs. Akurugu said, “The trust you placed in this leadership will be honoured through hard work, transparent governance, and continuous engagement with the people,” she said.
Mrs. Akurugu also called for unity and renewed commitment to service, saying the task of development required collective effort beyond elections.
“As we celebrate this evening, let us renew our commitment to unity and service,” she said. “The journey ahead is long, but together, we will continue to build a Dome-Kwabenya that works for everyone.”
She commended the organizers of the ceremony for recognising the efforts of party members and grassroots supporters, describing the event as a morale booster for continued service.
“I sincerely thank the organisers for their foresight, dedication, and hard work,” she added. “Celebrating service and sacrifice strengthens our collective resolve and inspires us to do even more,” she said.
The MP congratulated all award recipients and urged them to see the recognition as a call to greater responsibility.
“Once again, congratulations to all honorees,” Mrs. Akurugu said. “May this recognition inspire us all to do even more.”
