Gospel musician, Florence Obinim, has denied rumours that she has undergone plastic surgery following public reactions to her recent physical transformation.

Speculation intensified on social media after photos and videos of the singer sparked claims that she had gone under the knife to resemble actress Benedicta Gafah. Florence, who is married to controversial preacher, Bishop Daniel Obinim, addressed the allegations in an interview video circulating on X, featuring the Ghpage logo.

She dismissed the claims as false, stating categorically that she has never had plastic surgery.

Responding to comparisons with Benedicta Gafah, Florence rejected suggestions that she altered her appearance to look like the actress, insisting she has no reason to emulate her.

“Gafah isn’t my friend because she is an actress and I am a singer. What disgusts me is that people claimed I wanted to be like her, which is why I slimmed down,” she said.

She further questioned why critics place Benedicta Gafah on a pedestal, asking whether she should be considered the most beautiful woman in Ghana.

Florence also referenced her husband’s past admission of infidelity, challenging claims that Gafah stood out among Bishop Obinim’s former partners.

“Even if Bishop had a relationship with her, is she the only beautiful woman among my husband’s exes?” she asked.

According to the gospel singer, her weight loss is the result of a healthy lifestyle, not cosmetic enhancement.

“The only person I learn from is God and His word. I am interested in living healthily, and I will continue to slim down,” she added.
