Giving his first speech after emerging victorious from the elections at the party’s headquarters, Dr. Bawumia noted that, throughout his campaign period, he witnessed series of social media campaigns by voluntary youth groups across the country convincing delegates on the need to vote for him.

“To my youth campaign team and the teeming young people across the country, who championed this campaign from day one from various communities such as Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and Instagram, I say thank you.

“You remain my allies on this journey, together we will get this done. We still have a way to go, but the youth have proven that given the opportunity, they can conquer the world and I believe in you,” he said.

Social media played a significant role in Dr. Bawumia’s campaign, with his main hashtag #WinWithBawumia, #VoteNumber3 garnering many mentions and positive sentiments online.
