One of the mangled vehicles being towed from the accident scene
Three (3) persons have been confirmed dead, while one other is in critical condition following a gory accident on the Kumasi-Offinso Highway.
The tragic incident occurred on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Anyinasuso near Offinso in the Ashanti Region, when an articulated truck reportedly crashed into three vehicles.
Eyewitnesses, who spoke to DAILY GUIDE, said the articulated truck, which was travelling from Aboffuor towards Kumasi, lost control and rammed into the vehicles.
A Toyota Vitz, said to be the most severely damaged vehicle, was among the affected vehicles. The crash left three persons dead, while another victim sustained serious injuries and is currently battling for his life at the hospital.
Police personnel quickly took control of the scene to manage traffic and commence investigations into the cause of the accident.
The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the hospital morgue, while the injured victim is receiving treatment.
