A devastating crash between a bus and a tow truck occurred at the Kwashieman traffic light this morning, resulting in significant damage to the bus’s front end.
Reports indicate multiple fatalities, with the bus reportedly carrying church members to a convention.
Eyewitnesses state the bus was traveling from Takoradi to Sowutuom, while the truck, loaded with onions, was headed to Lapaz. The truck allegedly swerved into pedestrians while trying to avoid the collision.
“I saw body parts scattered around, with some victims trapped under the bus,” an eyewitness told Channel One News.
The driver and several others are injured. The police are currently on site
