Fameye
Highlife musician, Fameye, has publicly appealed to dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, for a music collaboration after efforts to reach him privately proved unsuccessful.
Speaking in an interview on PrimeTime, Fameye disclosed that he has been trying to secure a verse from Shatta Wale but has not received any response.
“I need his verse badly, but he is upset with me,” he said, adding that he is uncertain about what may have caused the apparent breakdown in communication.
According to Fameye, he and Shatta Wale previously shared a strong relationship, often communicating and even making plans to record songs together.
The singer suggested that he may have unknowingly said something that did not sit well with Shatta Wale, but insisted he has not intentionally done anything wrong.
“I’m someone who avoids things that can bring problems later, so I don’t really know what happened,” he explained.
Despite the situation, Fameye spoke highly of Shatta Wale, describing him as a valued friend and collaborator.
“I like him so much as a person and colleague… “It’s nice working with him and I like the vibe we used to have,” he added.
Fameye expressed optimism that their relationship can be repaired, noting that he remains open to resolving any differences and collaborating with Shatta Wale in the future.
