Accra City has been adjudged the best hospitality hotel and the most accommodating hotel at the 2019 edition of the Hospitality Awards held in Accra on Friday.

The hotel beat competition from other top-notch hotels to win the two categories.

The Hospitality Awards ceremony, which was organised by 90 Degrees Events, is aimed at honouring excellence in the hospitality industry.

It mostly targeted persons working behind the scenes to build a strong image for hotels in particular.

It was held at the Swiss Spirit Hotels & Suit in Accra on Friday, and was attended by a lot of personalities from both the showbiz and hospitality industries.

Among them were Vicky Zugah, Jay Foley, Elikem Kumordzi and a host of others.

Other winners at the awards were Movenpick Hotel, which beat Labadi Beach Hotel and Accra Marriot Hotel to win the most luxurious hotel of the year. Annabel Asamoah from Labadi Beach Hotel also won the most admired executive housekeeper of the year award.

Stephen Oduro and Anna-Pearl Nkansah, both from Movenpick, took home most admired food & beverage manager and most admired human resource manager respectively.

The award ceremony had music performances from Elorm, Camidoh, Mr. Drew and Akwaboah, who gave some patrons a reason to dance the night away.
