Nollywood actress, Ebube Nwagbo, has shared an emotional tribute following the death of actor, Alexx Ekubo, describing the loss as one of the hardest moments of her life.
In a heartfelt message posted on social media, Ebube said she still could not believe that the actor, whom she called Ikenna, was gone.
“This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write,” she wrote.
The actress remembered Alexx Ekubo as a kind-hearted person who was deeply loved by many because of his warm personality and sense of humour.
According to her, the late actor always made people laugh with his jokes and playful nature.
“You crack the heartiest jokes ever, had a great sense of humor, played the crankiest pranks and made everyone around you laugh,” she stated.
Ebube also praised his love for family, friends and God, saying he genuinely cared for those around him and always showed up for them.
She described him as a “rare being” whose presence brought warmth and kindness wherever he went.
The actress added that although his death was painful, she chooses to remember him with gratitude rather than grief.
“Chief Ikuku1, you lived up to your name, the ‘Breeze’. You passed through just like the wind — unforgettable and gone too soon,” she wrote.
Ebube concluded by offering prayers to the late actor’s family and loved ones while thanking him for the memories they shared together.
