Elected NDC Northern Regional Chairman , Ali Adolf
Ali Adolf has been elected as the Northern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) party in the Northern Region.
Ali Adolf polled 247 votes beating his close contender Godfred Apasinaba Wumbei who obtained 236 votes whiles the other contenders Hassan Rufai Ahmed Velim got 93 votes and Alhaji Umar Faruk, 9 votes.
Hamid Alhassan and General Amin were elected first and second Vice Chairmen respectively while Mohammed Abdul Salam was elected Secretary with Ziblim Saaka as the Deputy Secretary.
Baba Zee was elected Organizer, Mohammed Zatious Deputy Organizer, Hajia Shemima Treasurer, and Suhuyini Yalanga Deputy Treasurer.
Other Regional Executives elected are Sulemana Mahamudu as the Communication Officer, Abdallah Abu Sofian as Deputy Communication, and Hajia Jamilatu as Zongo Caucus Coordinator.
The new Northern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Ali Adolf, thanked delegates for believing in him and pledged to operate an open-door administration to ensure that the concerns of the party faithful are addressed.
He also called on the old and new executives and aspirants who lost to support him to campaign massively in the region to take back power from the NPP come 2024.
