Video of former Black Stars player, Anthony Baffoe cautioning Black Stars’ players in an emotional tone has gone viral on Thursday night ahead of the team’s next match with Gabon on Friday.
He said the team can’t afford to have a bad day against Gabon.
“ ..You can’t allow yourselves to have a bad day. It is not possible to have a bad day,” he urged.
The legendary defender was speaking with the players after Thursday evening’s training session.
According to him, they should play with “hunger” to win and not give any room for failure.
Ghana will play Gabon Friday, January 14, 2022, in their second game at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, (AFCON) 2021.
Back at home, the team has been receiving a lot of bashing after losing against Morocco in its opening game.
Winning against Gabon will brighten Ghana’s chances to the next stage of the tournament.
To Baffoe, today’s game is not do and die, because it doesn’t exist but ‘do and do’.
