As part of activities marking this year’s Christmas celebration, Mayor’s Entertainment Hub will host a musical concert dubbed “The Golden City Concert 2023” in Obuasi in the Ashanti Region on December 25 to entertain music fans.
The event, which would take place at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium, will bring together artistes who have ‘bombarded’ the airwaves in Obuasi and music charts with notable hits throughout the year.
Bound to be an event with fantastic performances from an incredible line-up of Obuasi-based music icons, organisers of the event are looking forward to a wonderful concert yet to happen in Obuasi.
The concert will feature the likes of O Kenneth, Reggie and Kwaku DMC of Asaaka Boys as the headline acts.
Some of artistes billed to rock the stage are Datz, Tipgy, G naze, Cobby Rans, Lord Depsy and Fada Kenzy.
They are expected to dazzle fans of Obuasi with their hit songs and energetic stage performances.
They will perform alongside talented Obuasi-based artistes such as Yaw Zig, Kay Cent, Ofosu Richpub, Jay Kenn and Jay Van Gork.
Beeztrap, Chicogod, Xlimkid, Dikoo Gonaboy, Thywill, Oyensem will be performing as supporting artistes for the event.
Viewed as the concert which brings the best of talents to Obuasi for an unforgettable night, the much-hyped event promises a night of fun, entertainment and vivacity.
According to the CEO of Mayor’s Entertainment Hub, Prince Annan, aka Cassidy Prince, the purpose of the event is to highlight the artistic culture of Obuasi through unity and harmony.
Cassidy Prince revealed that to make it quite easier for music lovers to see and have a feel of their favourite Asaaka Boys, the gate fee has been reduced to GH¢30. Plans are afoot to sell advanced tickets at designated points.
