MASSIVE CAMPAIGN to help renew the mandate of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2020, to sustain his good works, has kick-started already.

Interestingly, the strategic campaign has commenced in the Asokore Mampong Municipality, where the Asawase Constituency is located.

The famous Asawase Constituency is without doubt, the strongest hold of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region.

The Asokore Mampong Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaji Alidu Seidu, is the brain behind the re-election of Nana Akufo-Addo as president in 2020 campaign.

Addressing a sizable number of residents of Parkoso on Tuesday, he stated emphatically that Nana Akufo-Addo has done a yeoman’s job in less than three years in office.

According to him, the frequent power cuts also known as ‘Dumsor’, high unemployment rate and hopelessness, which were the order of the day, had vanished suddenly.

“There was no hope for the country and its citizens all because of the bad leadership style of the NDC until the NPP won political power in 2016”, he said.

The MCE added “within a short time in political office, good governance had been restored similar to what pertained when Kufuor was in political office”.

Alidu Seidu stated that President Nana Akufo-Addo has also introduced free Senior High School (SHS) policy and other laudable social intervention programmes.

He was of the view that President Nana Akufo-Addo deserves a second term “and we have started that crusade in the Asawase Constituency for strategic reasons”.
