Astus Ahiagble Resigns From EIB As GM Of GHOne TV

Astus Kwasi Amewonu Ahiagble

Astus Kwasi Amewonu Ahiagble has allegedly resigned as General Manager of GHOne TV after working with the EIB Network for four years.

He bid the company his last farewell on May 31 to move on to other endeavours, NEWS-ONE has gathered.

A source close to the station said it was a mutual decision to part ways with EIB Network on the ground of  “professional integrity” and “respect for the values” of EIB Network.

This followed a number of other recent resignations at EIB and the Ghanaian media in general.

Astus resigned exactly two months after broadcast journalist Nana Aba Anamoah made the headlines for being appointed as the new GM of GHOne TV.

“Congratulations to the new General Manager of @GHOneTV, @thenanaaba …. higher heights,” a page affiliated to Nana Aba Anamoah’s YouTube account tweeted early March 2020.

According to NEWS-ONE’s source, Astus was on leave when Nana Aba was allegedly appointed as acting GM. However when Astus returned, he decided to call it quits.
