Atiwa Chief Seeks Support For Nana

Osabarima Aduagyei Gyamfi in a handshake with Nana Addo

Osabarima Aduagyei Gyamfi II, chief of the Akyem Akrofufu Traditional Area in the Eastern Region, has asked the Almighty God to bless Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo with strength, good health, knowledge and wisdom and also make him victorious in the November polls.

According to him, when Nana Addo is given the mandate to rule Ghana, she will be taken to the Promised Land.
Osabarima has therefore, pledged his and the unflinching support of the people of Atiwa for Nana Akufo-Addo, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), in this year’s elections.
“We pledge to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that just as we have always done, whether in rain or in shine, day or night, we, the chiefs and people of Atiwa, support him fully in this year’s elections,” Osabarima Aduagyei Gyamfi II affirmed.
The Akyem Akrofufu chief gave this assurance on Sunday on the last day of the NPP flagbearer’s tour of the Eastern Region with the message of hope, when he paid a courtesy call on him at the Kwabeng palace.
Osabarima Aduagyei Gyamfi II advised the electorate to “advise your brother or sister to take a critical look at their living conditions before voting.”
He further urged the people to also vote massively for the NPP parliamentary candidate, Kwasi Amoako-Atta, explaining that it is only when this is done that Atiwa can prosper.
Nana Addo appealed to the residents to vote massively for him to come and turn the fortunes of the country around.
He noted that President Mahama’s tenure had been marked by theft of state resources, widespread cases of corruption and a broken economy.
The NPP leader reiterated his commitment to set up a factory in each of the 216 districts in the country, and urged Ghanaians not to pay heed to the skeptics who continue to say it cannot be done.
Nana Addo added that the NPP is fully convinced that Ghana has all it takes to better the lives of its citizens, but the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), had not been able to achieve this but had instead led the country into a ditch.
Nana Akufo-Addo, therefore, urged the residents not to be hoodwinked by the NDC propaganda of ‘it is not possible,’ stating that “Those who have no vision are always the ones who say it cannot be done. We are coming to rebuild Ghana and bring jobs to all Ghanaians.”
