The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Kwanwoma District, Grace Agyemang Asamoah, has intensified efforts to attract foreign investment into the district following high-level discussions with a delegation of Canadian investors from Jadford Inc..

The delegation, led by Clement Nana Boadi and accompanied by Henry Blowski, paid a courtesy call on the DCE at her office to explore potential investment opportunities and development partnerships within the district.

The engagement forms part of the Assembly’s broader strategy to strengthen ties with international investors and mobilise resources to accelerate socio-economic development in the area.

Discussions focused on critical sectors, including agriculture, education, healthcare, infrastructure and other priority areas identified as key to transforming the local economy and improving living conditions for residents.

The investors expressed strong interest in partnering the Assembly and assured the DCE of their financial capacity to support major investment projects in selected sectors.

They further indicated their readiness to collaborate closely with the Assembly in identifying viable projects and ensuring their successful implementation.

Speaking during the meeting, Clement Nana Boadi underscored the importance of collaboration between local authorities and foreign investors in unlocking development opportunities at the grassroots level.

He described the engagement as the beginning of a long-term partnership aimed at delivering impactful and sustainable projects for the people of Atwima Kwanwoma.

Henry Blowski also reaffirmed Jadford Inc.’s commitment to sustainable investment and expressed optimism about establishing a mutually beneficial relationship with the Assembly.

For her part, Madam Grace Agyemang Asamoah welcomed the delegation and assured them of the Assembly’s commitment to creating a favourable environment for investment.

She highlighted several untapped opportunities within the district and stressed that the Assembly remains committed to transparency, accountability and efficiency in all investment processes.

According to the DCE, attracting credible investors is critical to improving infrastructure, creating employment opportunities and enhancing service delivery in the district.
