Baba Spirit
The late comedian and TV personality, Baba Spirit’s one-week memorial service has been slated for September 24, 2022.
Baba who was born Francis Yaw Ofori died Thursday, September 8, 2022 after battling an unconfirmed ailment.
He died not long after he had said in an interview on Bryt TV that he was spiritually attacked but he survived.
The one-week observation in honour of his memory will be held at the Arts Centre in Accra.
It is expected to be attended by major names in Ghana’s showbiz industry.
It is not confirmed when his funeral will take place but reports have it that he would be buried in northern part of Ghana where he hailed from.
Until his death, Baba 8Spirit was one of the entertainers who brought humour to his followers.
He is well remembered for his much-publicised 2018 exhibition boxing bout with veteran professional boxer Ayittey Powers, which was held at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra and screened live on television.
