Bawumia Urges Faith-Based Organizations To Embrace Innovation

 

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 running mate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called on faith-based organizations to embrace innovation while remaining true to their core values.

Speaking as the special guest at the 24th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), at Abetifi in the Eastern Region On Saturday, Dr Bawumia commended the PCG for its almost 200 years of dedicated service to Ghana.

The assembly, held under the theme “Celebrating Our Heritage: Persisting in Missions,” brought together leaders and members of the PCG from across the country.

The Vice-President, urged the PCG and other faith-based organizations to adapt to the changing needs of their members and society, leveraging innovation to meet spiritual and physical needs.

He emphasized the government’s recognition of the invaluable contributions of faith-based organizations, pledging commitment to collaborate in building a Ghana where faith, peace, and prosperity thrive.
