Benjamin Akwasi Asamoah Urges Ghanaians To Support Young Artistes

Benjamin Akwasi Asamoah, CEO of Benjiro Productions, has stated that the degree of help offered to young Ghanaian artistes is insufficient to take the country’s music industry to new heights.

He thinks that financial backing for the music business would enable it to compete in the international music market.

The CEO noted that music industry participants need Ghanaians’ support if Ghanaian music is to compete with other expanding music marketplaces on the continent.

Asamoah said in an interview that the constant support from fans and listeners pushes musicians to aim high and pursue bigger platforms.

He said Ghana can produce a lot of talents that can be cultivated to compete on the global music scene.
He asked Ghanaians to show kindness to musicians who have what it takes to compete with those in the worldwide music industry.

He revealed that the aim of Benjiro Productions, which always offers top quality productions, is to help make Ghanaian music, films and tourism industries get international exposure.

He also advised veteran musicians to support young and upcoming artistes, and guide them in their musical activities in order to move the industry forward.

He however warned that veteran musicians who fail to support upcoming talents will live to regret their actions in the near future.

He, however, appealed to the veterans in the industry to be generous in their support of the country’s young talents who have what it takes to move the industry forward.
