One of Ghana’s leading cultural dance groups, Brago Cultural Group, has declared that one of its objectives is to develop the talents in the youth and also create employment for them.
The group which has trained a lot of people including students over the years has been involved in the promotion and development of traditional Ghanaian music and dance.
The group revealed that it is negotiating with some selected institutions in the country where its members would train and help to develop talents in the youth.
The group added that the training programmes were initiated to encourage to young ones to develop interest in traditional music and dance.
Participants at the training program will be made to perform and demonstrate their acquired skills in various African artistic mediums such as music, dance, theater and visual arts through studio classes, and interaction with artists, and renowned cultural performers.
The group mentioned that there would be Field trips and study tours to provide another unique cultural immersion opportunity.
Formed to promote Ghanaian and African cultural values, both at home and abroad, since its establishment over the years ago, the group has had tremendous success in terms of international engagements.
