French club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have been crowned the Champions of Ligue 1, report says.
Report by L’Equipe journalist Domenighetti Joël, says PSG were awarded the title after the French Government cancelled the Ligue 1 due to coronavirus.
PSG were leading the table for the 2019/2020 season by 12-point over Marseille and with a game-in-hand.
France had earlier this week announced that the Ligue 1 2019/20 had been cancelled.
The announcement came with uncertainty as to whether Paris Saint-Germain will be awarded Champions.
The news now means PSG have won the Ligue 1 title for the third consecutive season.
The Ligue 1 table will be finalised based on a points-per-match ratio, according to report.
