‘Brown Sugar’ is a film that exposes some of the ills yet-to-be married couples engage in before they finally say ‘I do’.
It features some of Africa’s amazing actors from Liberia Ghana, Nigeria and The Gambia.
In September 2018, the film registered great numbers at its premiere in Accra at the Silverbird Cinemas.
That came on the heels of an earlier successful premiere of the film in Liberia, where the actress was born.
A lot of film enthusiasts were at the Silverbird Cinemas at the Accra Mall and West Hills Mall to watch the film. It was subsequently premiered in the UK. Now, it has won best film award in the USA.
