Choirmaster at the airport
Musician, Choirmaster, has returned to Ghana ahead of the funeral of his late wife, actress Beverly Afaglo, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the State House.
The funeral will begin at 7:00 a.m., after which a private burial will be held. A thanksgiving service is also scheduled for Sunday, August 9, at Action Chapel International, starting at 9:00 a.m.
Choirmaster arrived from the United States on July 28 and was received at the Accra International Airport by friends and colleagues, including Praye Tiatia and rapper, Dr Cryme, who offered him words of comfort during this difficult period.
Videos of his arrival, which have since circulated on social media, showed the musician visibly emotional as he reunited with his close associates.
Beverly Afaglo died on May 24, 2026, at the age of 42, just four days before her 43rd birthday.
Her passing sent shockwaves through Ghana’s entertainment industry, as family, friends and fans prepare to bid her a final farewell.
