Chris Hughton Names 25… To Face Angola

Chris Hughton

Black Stars’ new coach, Chris Hughton, has named his first squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

Twenty-five players have been selected for the mouthwatering doubleheader vs Angola this month.

The former Brighton & Hove manager will debut in the dugout against Palancas negras at the Baba Yara Stadium on March 23.

The Stars will then travel to Luanda for the reverse fixture three days later.

Hughton took over from Otto Addo following the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana are joint top of the Group E table with four points from two games following a 3-0 win over Madagascar and a 1-1 draw with Central African Republic in June last year.
