COP Honours GJA President

 

President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Mr. Albert Kwabena Dwumfour has been honoured by the Church of Pentecost (CoP)-Alajo District for his impact on the Church as President of the Inky Fraternity and his contributions to the Men’s Ministry.

The Church praised him for becoming the first ever GJA President from the CoP and for that matter the Alajo district under the La Area.

According to the Church, Mr Dwumfour’s elevation to the echelons of media and the sterling impact he is making in the media space has brought honour and impetus to the church and hence deserves an honour.

“Despite his busy schedules, Mr Dwumfour still finds time to, not only avail himself but support the church wholeheartedly”, the Church emphasized.

Mr. Dwumfour, as part of the honour,[which is in line with the Church’s mission of possessing the nation agenda] was presented with a magnificent pencilled portrait at the National Pentecost Men’s Ministry (PEMEN) Week Celebration held on 11th-16th June 2024.

The presentation was done by the Alajo District Pastor, Pastor Gordon Ako Addo and the District PEMEM Leader/La Area Executive Member, Elder Felix Addo.

The GJA President, receiving the portrait expressed gratitude to the Church for the honour and the massive support shown him before becoming the GJA President and even as substantive GJA President.

He assured the Church of Pentecost of his avowed commitment to support and pursue the interest of the Church at all times.
