The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has urged players within the hospitality sector to direct their concerns to its call center facility for redress.
The Authority is also encouraging all players in the hospitality industry to utilize its call center to report any conduct that breaches Government’s directives for the hospitality sector during the two weeks partial lockdown as imposed by President Nana Akufo-Addo on Friday, March 27, 2020.
In a statement issued by its Corporate Affairs Department and made available to DGN Online, GTA says “we urge all facilities to observe the protocol and precautionary measures on public gatherings as spelt out in the imposition of restriction Act, 2020.”
Ghana is fighting hard to contain the spread of the novel coronvirus.
The country now has 152 confirmed cases of the virus and five deaths.
