Young and talented Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Saviour Adzika, known in the music scene as Sayvee, last Sunday launched his foundation, Corpnation Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation with the aim of empowering the youth at Raybow Hotel in Takoradi.
The well-coordinated event had in attendance personalities from the creative arts industry, oil and gas, and the media, among others.
The objective of the foundation is primarily to empower the next generation of youth leaders.
Speaking at the launch, the leader of Corpnation Foundation, Saviour Adzika, mentioned that the vision of the foundation is to “envision a world where the potential of all youth is inspired, employed and equipped to make them become responsible and participating citizens for sustainable development in society.”
He added that Corpnation Foundation would also put in place measures to “nurture and enlighten the youth on invaluable extracurricular aspects of life through formal and informal learning activities by equipping them with appropriate platforms and resources that enhance their mental well-being and overall responsiveness to youth development.”
Ahead of the launch of the foundation, the mother company, Corpnation annually organises ‘Corp Tour’ to various senior high schools in the Western Region to equip and empower students on financial literacy, choosing a career, developing talents and more.
Also, Corpnation annually organises seminar for artistes and other creative arts players to empower them on latest trends in creative arts.
The leader of the foundation, Sayvee, a known artiste who also works in the energy sector, has won awards like ‘Excellence in Creative Arts’ at the 2020 edition of the Western Regional Business Awards for his exceptional ability to multitask corporate work and creative arts, and also won other awards at the Western Music Awards.
