Songo flanked by Cameroonian duo of Mefegue Georges and Frank Mbelle Etouga
Celebrated TV presenter Patrick Osei Agyemang, widely known as Countryman Songo of ‘Fire for Fire’ fame, has landed an enviable Asante Kotoko post.
And per the appointment, the ‘Fire man’ has become a member of Kotoko’s Communication Team in charge of match and project promotions.
To the multiple award-winning sports firebrand, the appointment offers him an opportunity to serve his ‘boyhood’ club.
The TV show host said in an interview, “It is indeed an honour for me to serve this great club. I accept it in good faith, I will do my very best to go the extra mile for Kotoko for the confidence reposed in me.”
The initiative forms part of plans by the Nana Yaw Amponsah-led administration to position the club on a high pedestal.
Kotoko are currently on the league’s summit with 30 points.
