Covid19 Relief: Ketu South MCE Lauds Foundation For 300 Disabled Persons

The Ketu South Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Elliot Edem Agbenorwu, has lauded De Colours Foundation Covid- 19 Team for supporting over 300 vulnerable and disabled persons in the municipality.

The Foundation donated Covid-19 relief food items such as rice, beans, garri and also Bibles due to the hardship the Covid-19 pandemic has posed.

It also supplied Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as face mask, sanitizers, soaps and customized buckets for washing of hands to the above mentioned individuals.

Mr Agbernowu, meanwhile, sensitized the people on how to make use of the PPE provided by the foundation.

He was overwhelmed by the kind gesture and expressed profound gratitude to Pastor Donatus Okocha, the President of the foundation and his team, saying that since the pandemic started, De Colours Foundation was the only humanitarian organization that has come to distribute relief items in the area.

He advised that if the Foreign Donors and agencies who support this course will be able to work with De Colours Foundation, then the whole Ghana will feel the impact the foundation is making at the moment and therefore, added that the Municipal Assembly will present an appreciation letter for recognition of the Foundation and any donor who wants to support the organization for the best of Ghanaians.

Pastor Donatus Okocha, in a warm response, said that the Foundation renders service to God and humanity.
