Sista Afia, Freda Rhymz To Resolve Impasse

Sista Afia

The Management of afro pop artiste, Sista Afia, and dancehall act, Freda Rhymes, have resolved to discontinue the recent feud between both artistes.

Both female artistes, who have, over the past few days, jabbed each other in diss songs, got physical when they met each other at the premises of Media General (TV3).

Both had visited TV3 for separate interviews but nearly got into fisticuffs after they saw each other.

It took the intervention of the management of the artistes and some personnel at Media General to prevent an escalation of the feud.

Both artistes have dominated the showbiz circles in recent times after series of outbursts on TV with jabs being thrown in rebuttal songs.

Mr. Emmanuel Arhin, aka Bossu Kule, Manager of Sista Afia, disclosed to the GNA in an interview on Monday that his team and that of Freda Rhymz’s are working behind closed door to solve the problem between the two artistes.

“The managements are talking behind the scenes to settle the issue amicably and end this beef. They are not that friendly like they used to be, but certainly they would get back in good terms,” Arhin said.

Arhin said, “I know Sista Afia like I know my blood sister. She has never ever attacked anyone physically in her life and I knew she would not attack Freda Rhymz.”

Sista Afia has since apologized to Freda Rhymz as well as her fans who felt disappointed in her actions.

Sista Afia, who joined the music industry in 2015, gained recognition following the release of her single, ‘Jeje’, which featured dancehall artist, Shatta Wale and Afezi Perry.

She has a number of hit songs such as ‘Kro Kro No’, ‘Whether’, ‘YiWani’, ‘Kofi’, ‘Corner Corner’, ‘Broken Heart’ and ‘Night And Day’.
