The award
DAILY GUIDE NETWORK, Ghana’s leading private newspaper, has been honoured as the Media House of the Year at the maiden edition of the Above and Beyond (ABR) awards 2021.
The awards ceremony, which was graced a number of personalities, was held last Saturday at the Ceejay Multimedia studio located at Abeka Lapaz in Accra.
DAILY GUIDE was awarded a plaque and a citation of honour for its contributions to the development of Ghana’s entertainment industry.
The citation reads, “Recognising Daily Guide Network as one of the most highly influential media networks and rendering marvellous service to the entertainment industry. Be it further known to all, your tremendous and selfless contributions to the creative art industry.”
“Daily Guide has helped develop the industry by promoting brands and personalities. The ABR organisers congratulate you with a high earned citation of excellence recognition awards.”
Other creative industry stakeholders who were honoured at the ceremony include DJ MJ as Event DJ of the Year, Free Giver as Director of the Year, Yaa Dede as Model of the Year, Habiba Sinare as Actress of the Year, and Nana Baffour as Celebrity Blogger of the Year.
Agyare Kwabena Michael as Best Actor of the Year, Jal Klodin as Fashion Stylish of the Year, and Zikey Photography as Best Photography of the Year.
The ABR Awards was organised by Ceejay Multimedia to honour individuals and other notable personalities from both the entertainment and entrepreneur sectors in the country.
