Mohammed Kudus
Tottenham Hotspur head coach Roberto De Zerbi has praised Ghana international Mohammed Kudus for his impact off the bench in Spurs’ Premier League draw against Nottingham Forest.
Kudus was introduced in the second half at the City Ground, replacing Savio, and spent 29 minutes on the pitch.
The Ghanaian winger impressed during his cameo, completing all eight of his passes and successfully completing one of two dribble attempts.
De Zerbi specifically highlighted Kudus and Andy Robertson after being forced into a double substitution due to fitness concerns involving Savio and Destiny Udogie.
“Kudus and Robertson played very well, but maybe making two substitutions at that moment was not so good,” De Zerbi told Sky Sports.
The performance will strengthen Kudus’ case for a starting role when Tottenham face Everton on Saturday.
