Dealer Loses 2 Cars To Robbers

A CAR dealer at Obuasi, in the Ashanti Region, has lost his two expensive vehicles to robbers.

The robbers scaled the wall, entered Eric Arthur’s room through the window and tied the victim’s hands with rope.

They afterwards robbed him of his valuables, including a Toyota Highlander and Mercedes Benz C250 and fled.

A police report noted that the robbery happened at Nana Ponko, a suburb of Obuasi, on January 2, 2022.

It said Arthur was asleep around 3:30am when armed men sneaked into his room through a back window.

“They entered his room and tied his hands and legs with a cellotape,” the police report sighted by the paper, noted.

It added that “they robbed him of his unregistered Toyota Highlander and Mercedes Benz C250 vehicles.”

The robbers also took away a 65 inch Panasonic TV set, two iPhones, Tecno, Nokia phones and other items.

The hoodlums also stole Gh¢8,500 cash and laptops.

The police are on the heels of the robbers.
